Valentine

I have created one more card this weekend for 3 challenges.

The stamp is a digital stamp that I bought at Priscillastyle Store. I colored it with Copic Markers. The paper is Teresa Collins and so is the saying that I colored with Copic markers also. The birds at the bottom is a printed tape by Colorbok. I added a bow and 2 valentine buttons. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Another Spring Card...

The sun is still shining! I guess it is making me want to make Springy flowery cards! I have created this card for 3 challenges.

The background paper is KI Memories.I dry embossed the white panels using the lace and script Cuttlebug embossing folders I wet embossed all of the images with black embossing powder. All stamps are StampinUp except the butterflies. I don't know the manufacturer of them:( The purple background is glossy paper that I rolled on purple ink. The hummingbird and butterflies are cut out and added on with pop dots and I added the pearls. Thanks for stopping by!

Is Spring here yet?

At least it isn't snowing here this weekend and the sun is shining! I have created this card for 3 challenges.

I used the great sketch at the Penny Black challenge. The Penny Black image was coloured with Copic Markers. The saying is  a seasonal block by Post Modern Design. The papers are Paper Pizazz and Paper Adventures. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the bee's wings and the flower. I added a green die cut, 2 sizes of daisy punches, leaf punches, gems and pearls and a sheer ribbon down the middle. Thanks for stopping by!

An Oldie But a Goodie Guest Design Team Card

The Oldie But a Goodie Challenge is a blog where you use your stamps that are at least 6 months old. This gives you a chance to pull out your stamps that you have forgotten about! The challenge #11 for this fortnight is Mermaids, Fairies, Dragons... I had fun as a Guest Design Team member this month.Check out thier site because the DT have posted some wonderful creations!

Hedgies in Love

I have created another card tonight. We did get out for a little while today but our country roads are slick! I have created this card for 4 challenges.

My new supplies that I have used for the Penny Black Challenge is the paper. It is a 60 piece paper pack from The Paper Studio that I got for half price! Woo Hoo! Also the daisies are new. The Penny Black image is colored with Copic markers. I added a Love tag and it is hard to tell, but a covered the balloons with Glossy Effects to make them shiney. Thanks for stopping by!

Flowers!

Good morning! It is cold here with snow on the ground! It was 1 degree this morning, Brrrr! I have created this card for 5 challenges.

The Basic Grey papers that I used are from the porcelain paper pad and sugared/attractive. The house mouse stamp was colored with Copic markers. The saying is StampinUp. I sponged pink around the image and stamped flowers around the edge by Sandylion. The image is cut with the Cuttlebug using the label Spellbinder. For the embossing for the House Mouse Challenge, I embossed the flowers and cut them out. I embossed the light pink flowers with light pink embossing powder on the green and the pink flowers are clear embossed on the pink cardstock. I think that we reach for the pre-made flowers a lot when we can make out own! I added punched leaves and gems and a ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!

Orange Butterfly

Good evening! My hubby had to work tonight so I was able to play in my craft room! I have created this card for 3 challenges.

I ran the green panel through the lace Cuttlebug folder. The orange flowers are a EK Success punch. The butterfly stamp is Inkadinkado and the saying is StampinUp. I tried to put the butterfly on there with no bling but it looked kind of plain so I blinged it up with gems, pearls and Dazzling Diamonds! Thanks for stopping by!

The Fuzzy Wuzzy January Mid Month Inspiration

The Fuzzy Wuzzy January Challenge theme is Anything Goes as long as it has an animal on it! Check it out and my fellow Design Team members have posted some awesome projects for the mid month inspiration! It has been snowing here all day so this card fits right in! We have about 6 inches of snow on the ground so far! I have created a little penguin village. The stamps are from the Unity Stamp Company. The sun is Verve and the saying is StampinUp. This is a Penny Black image colored with Copic markers. The saying is StampinUp. I ran the green panel through the leafy branch Cuttlebug folder, The patterned paper is Basic Grey. The stamp that I used is Verve. I stamped it on the tag and on white paper, cut it out and added it to the tag. I added clear glitter to it. The saying is My Sentiments Exactly. The flower punch under the saying is EK Success. The background paper is Sassafras Lass and the tag is Basic Grey. I stitched the side of the tag with embroidery floss. Oldie but a Goodie Guest DT card

One of my favorite challenge blogs invited me to be a guest design team member for the month of January based on my card that I created for December. For this challenge you are encouraged to use your older stamps. For the Oldie but a Goodie Challenge #10, the challenge is to make a card bright and cheerful. I used this Magnolia stamp and colored her with Copic markers. The papers are GCD by Melody Ross. I cut her out and ran the pink panel through the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug Folder. a card for my daughter-in-law

My new daughter-in-law loves elephants so I have created this birthday card for her. I used the sketch at Inspirational Card Sketches #96 and I used texture that they asked for at The Saturday Challenge #116. My daughter-in-law isn't a child but I think this card would work very well for one so I am entering into the One Stop Craft Challenge #113-a card for a child.  I colored this Penny Black elephant with Copic makers and rubbed brown ink around the edges. The  patterned paper is Basic Grey and the pink paper is The Paper Studio which I ran through the Cuttlebug embossing folder. The saying is a rubon and the punch is Martha Stewart. The challenge for the JUGS challenge is to make a card, decorate the envelope and make a lining for the envelope. There is a tutorial on how to make the lining on their website. I had to modify it a little bit for this envelope. The only thing that I don't like is that I wish I had lined up the dots better! The Basic Grey papers are from the Boxer collection and the dot paper is Three Bugs in a Rug. I embossed the fairy with gold embossing powder and the saying with silver embossing powder. They are both Recollections. I cut the butterflies and flowers with the Cuttlebug and added bling and a polka dot ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!

A Winter Scene

For the Sir Stampalot January Challenge, the theme is A Winter Tale.You can take the interpretation for the Queen Song Here is my card. I think that winter nature scenes are beautiful. The stamp is by Northwoods Rubber Stamps, Inc. I sinked it with green craft ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I did the same for the title by StampinUp.
