I have inky fingers today! I have created two cards using the same techniqe and the same sketch. For the Just Us Girls Challenge # they want you to use the collage stamping technique. You can find how to do it here. This was a fun technique. My first card is (of course) a baby girl card! Here it is:

The paper is Basic Grey. I used my distress inks. The stamps are Hero Arts, StampinUp, and Royal Brush Mfg. The embossing folder is Tim Holtz and the punch is Martha Stewart. I added pink raindrops. Here are the challenges:

The One Stop Craft Challenge #164 Bingo-DT card

Hey, there, how's it going? It has been a while since my last post! I hope that everyone had a great Holday! I am going to try to get into my craft room more (after I clean it up) and start making cards again! It is time for another One Stop Craft Challenge! The challenge for this week is to play a game of Bingo. We are sponsored by The Doodle Pantry, The Crimson Cloud and The One Stop Craft Shop. Here is the Bingo board.

Doodle Bug Pantry gave the design team some images to work with so I have used one of their beautiful digital images. The elements that I have used for this card is Embossing, Paper Piecing and Charms/Pins. Here is my card:

I printed the image on gold, green, blue and blue paper. I cut out each leaf and flower and glued it onto the blue panel. The paper is Printworks. I embossed the red and yellow panels with the Cuttlebug. I added a butterfly charm and made a flower with heart puches and the border punch is Martha Stewart. My last Christmas card

I have made about 20 of these tonight. I went simple so that I could make a lot, fast! I masked off the outside of the white card and sponged green ink in the middle. I then stamped the winter cabin scene by Inkadinkado. The Merry Christmas is by Verve and the saying on the inside is Stampin Up. I stamped the scene on the envelope also. Hi there, Happy Monday! It was very rainy and dreary today:( The roads are flooding around here:( I would ALMOST rather have snow! I have made a card tonight. I wanted to try the colors at The Play Date Cafe #109 which are Blush, Smokey Purple and Champagne. These are hard colors to put together but I like the end product! Here is my card.

Good morning! I had a busy weekend! Last Thursday was my birthday and I basically had a week long celebration! My husband took me to a Bob Seger concert (it was great!) then my daughter and daughter in law took me to see the Breaking Dawn movie and then I went on a bus tour to see the Biltmore House in North Carolina with some friends from work! It was decorated for Christmas and very beautiful! I created this card in between doing all of that! This is my last card as a Guest Design Team Member for November at the House Mouse and Friends Challenge. The theme for this fortnight is Warm and Fuzzy. Here is my card.

I colored this very sweet image with Copic markers. The papers are K&Co Basic Grey and Scenic Route. The saying is Hero Arts and the little flowers around the image are Stamp Tapestry. It is time for another One Stop Craft Challenge! The challenge for this week is to use the color blue. The sponsor is Sassy Studio Design. Here is my card that I have used a digital image that was generously donated by them!

I have colored it with Copic markers. The papers are Authentique. I embossed the earrings and bracelets with silver embossing powder and the blue sparkle around the picture is blue gitter embossing powder. The wonderful women at The House Mouse and Friends Challenge Blog invited me to be a Guest Design Team member for the Month of November. The theme for this fortnight is Thankfulness. Just use a House Mouse, Gruffy or Happy Hopper on your project along with a Thank you of some sort. They are giving out a prize for 2 winners this month! Here is my card.

I went a little simple with this card. I stamped the image on the white panel. I cut the pink and yellow panel with the Cuttlebug Spellbinder and added it to the white panel with pop dots. It it time for another One Stop Craft Challenge! The challenge this week is not to use a sentiment. We are sponsored by our very own One Stop Craft Shop! I decided to make a shaker box card. Here it is.

I stamped the image twice. Once on the kraft paper and once on white. I colored the image with Copic markers, cut it out and pasted it on the Kraft paper. I then made a shaker box, putting punched leaves in the box. The paper is Basic Grey. I sponged brown ink on the orange cardstock to tone it down a bit. The border punch is Martha Stewart and the punched leaves are EK Success. I added ribbon, a pumpkin by K&Co. and punched leaves. An Enormously Cute Card

Would you believe that it took HOURS for me to make this card! I knew that I wanted to use the colors from The Play Date Cafe #102 -Mauve, Egg Yolk, Artichoke but I had trouble figuring out what stamp to use! I also wanted to make a Clean and Simple card for the CAS-ual Friday #25-color your stamped image. I also used the Midnight Madness Sketch #126. Here it is.

The stamp and saying is Hero Arts. I colored the elephant with Copic markers and free handed the spots. I cut it out and glued it to the green card stock. I don't know who made the paper:( and I added gems. I do like the finished card but it sure was a struggle, I almost gave up! I think I will give it to my Daughter-In-Law because she loves elephants! At the CASE Study Challenge they want to see your signature style. This was hard for me because I like to try a lot of new techniques, styles... I think your signature style is probably what you like to create. I use a lot of animals, fairies, flowers, nature on my cards because I like them! I wasn't sure about these colors together but they can look fantastic together! I colored the image with Copic markers and the saying is a Seasonal Slab. I printed this image on watercolor paper and colored it with distress inks and Copic markers. The kraft paper has been run through the Cuttlebug using a Tim Holtz embossing folder and then distressed with brown ink. The saying are stickers. I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. It is very hot here. Summer is here already! We had a family get together tonight with my Mom's family. It was fun. I created this card for a couple of challenges.

Here is my card.

I took a glossy panel and pounded it with green, purple and red alcohol inks. I added pink pearls for shine. I then embossed the white flowers with embossing powder. All stamps are StampinUp. The patterned paper is My Minds Eye. I cut the panels out with the Label Spellbinder and added 2 butterflies with pearls for the middles. I like to get messy with my inks and embossing powders every once in a while and I like the end result! Thanks for stopping by!

I always think so that scene from The Wizard of Oz when I think of Poppies! I love that scene! Here is the photo for inspiration at Sir Stampalot.

Here is my card:

I had fun making this card because I love fairies and poppies! The papers are K&Co. The poppies are StampinUp and I don't know the manufacturer of the Fairy stamp. The saying is a rubon. I rubbed 2 shades of green ink on a glossy panel and embossed the images with pewter embossing powder. I colored the Poppies with Copic markers. It is time for a new One Stop Craft Challenge! For week #133 the theme is buttons and bows. How easy is that! Everyone has buttons and bows lying around! We are sponsord by Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps. They have generously donated the DT some digital stamps to play with. I chose this gorgeous oriental stamp.

I printed it on red cardstock. I rubbed the edges with Versamark and gold embossed the edges. I backed it with gold and black panels. The other paper is specialty paper from my stash. I added sheer red ribbon, sheer polkadot bows, red raindrops and 2 black buttons.

It is time for another One Stop Craft Challenge! The Challenge for week 129 is In Stitches. We want to see some stitching on your card. It can be either real or faux. I printed the digital image on the orange cardstock and added the saying by Queen Kat Design which is embossed with black embossing powder. The papers are Cosmo Cricket. The sewing machine is a die cut which was given to me in a kit. The stitching was done by first piercing the paper with a tool and then hand stitching it with black thread. The heart pins were made by adding 2 heart stickers to a stick pin. I added ribbons, a black sticker border and beads. Go check out the beautiful work from the Design Team this week! Good morning! It is time for another One Stop Craft Challenge! This week, the theme is altered. We are sponsored this week by Sassy Studio Designs. You can win 4 digital images from them! They have generously donated some images for the DT to use which I have used on my boxes! Here they are!

These are Whitman Chocolate Samplers. I covered the top of the boxes with cardstock. I wrapped ribbon around the sides and tied a bow. I applied pearls and gems to the top of the sides. I colored the images with Copic markers, cut them out and added to the top. The names are stickers and I added a gem swirl and a flower.

My best friend adopted two little girls from China. They are 7 now and they are very girly girls! I thought they would like these little personalized candy boxes and after they eat the candy, they can keep little trinkets in them! I will put them in thier little Easter basket that I am making for them!

I have colored Emilio Fox with distress inks. I did use Copic markers for his scarf. The paper is Die Cuts with a View. Happy Monday! I am getting ready to watch the final game of the NCAA basketball tourney, Go Butler Bulldogs! I had time to make this card before the game. I have created this card for 3 challenges.

I used distress inks to color this House Mouse Image.I am trying to get better at using distress inks. I am not real happy with this but it will do! I used Copic markers a little too. The stamp that I used is Penny Black colored with Copic markers. The saying is Hero Arts. The paper is Recollections. The border is The Paper Studio and yellow and black panels are cut with the Label Spellbinders and run through the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder. I embossed this Penny Black image with silver embossing powder and colored it with Copic markers. The saying is StampinUp that is embossed with silver too. I don't know the manufacturer of the pink paper but the blue paper is The Paper Studio. The punched flowers is Memory Makers. I added punched butterflies and leaves, flowers, ribbon and buttons.
