This week I will mostly be working on projects for the Stampin Out Alzheimer's website. Here is the address
http://stampinoutalzheimers.ning.com/
I encourage you to visit the site and participate in some of the challenges. All proceeds go to the Alzheimer's association. They are also giving away fabulous prizes! My Father-in-law passed away Feb. 08 from the disease. It was very hard watching him deteriorate. I made this card for one of the challenges. You had to color an image with blue and brown Copic Markers. I had to cheat a little and add the green frog! Thanks for stopping by!

Cinemas Saturday Challenge #33-Ever After and Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge
I did this card for 2 challenges. Of course I love to do cards for the Cinema Saturday Challenge and this week was the movie Ever After. I wanted to do a card with soft colors. I loved Drew Barrymore in the beautiful butterfly dress and she had to have imagination to get the Prince! I stamped and distressed everything in Sahara Sand. I colored everything with chalks. The girl and saying are Invoke Arts. The butterflies are fontwerks and the flourish is Queen Kat Designs and the papers are Creative Memories. I added a clear butterfly from Heidi Swapp and ribbon from my stash. You were supposed to include a flourish so I put one in the bottom right corner. I had fun making this card!
Sue McMahon told me that she is a design team member for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge and invited me to try one of their sketches. This is MMSC2. There is a link to their site on my blog. Check it out, there are a lot of talented people there. Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp Something-Clean and SImple Thank You
I liked the colors of my Twilight card so I decided to make a card using them for the Stamp Something-Clean and Simple Thank You Challenge. You are supposed to make a thank you card using clean and simple lines. I used the Enchanted Gold embossing powder on the hearts, stamped a tag and run an ribbon through it, pretty simple, huh! The movie for this week at Cinema Saturday Challenge was Twilight. I just finished the book on Sunday and I watched the movie before that. I am a romantic so of course I loved this movie! I wanted to keep this card simple. This is to Edward from Bella when she was seperated from him! Twilight is their favorite time of day but this is more like midnight! For my sparkle I used Enchanted Gold embossing powder. The stamps are StampinUp. I clear embossed the moon and the Missing You is a rub on by Memory Makers and I added a heart bling. Thanks for stopping by!

Cinema Saturday #31-Steel Magnolias
The movie for this week is Steel Magnolias and you were supposed to use some pink on your card. This movie is a tear jerker! I picked this stamp to use because it reminds me of a Mama Tree taking card of her baby tree or you could look at it as God looking after us. I like it in the movie when the Daryl Hanna character starts praying all the time! This card could be comforting to Shelby's friends and family. The tree stamp is Stampendous and the saying is StampinUp. The butterflies are Heidi Swapp and I added bling. Thanks for stopping by!
Mojo Monday #86 and Stamp Something-Pink Birthday
I am happy to be back in my scrapbook room, working on card challenges! I did this card for 2 challenges. The Stamp Something challenge blog was to make a pink birthday card. This pink is kind of pink/purple but it looks more pink in real life! The stamp is It's My Party, the papers are Piggy Tales and the rub ons are The Paper Studio. I used the great sketch from Mojo Monday. Thanks for stopping by!
