I have created this card for 4 challenges.

Penny Black Challenge #103-In the Garden
Basic Grey Challenge #21-a sketch by Martine
Flutterby Wednesday #111
One Stop Craft Challenge #82-Pearls and Swirls

I colored this cute Penny Black image with Copic markers. The saying is a rubon by My Sentiments Exactly. The butterfly stamp is Scrappy Cat that is embossed with white detail embossing powder. The papers are Heidi Grace and Basic Grey-Periphery. I embossed the pink panel with the Cuttlebug and added pearl swirls. Thanks for stopping by!

Well, Shake it up, Baby, Now...

The movie for inspiration at The Cinema Saturday Challenge #81 is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I love this movie! My favorite part is when Ferris is singing on the float in the parade. He sings The Beatle's song-Twist and Shout. That is my inspiration for this card. The lips look more like The Rolling Stones, though! It is a chipboard by Die Cuts with a View and it was more orange so I colored it over with a red Copic marker. I embossed a music stamp by Stampabilities with white detail embossing powder. The saying is printed with the computer and I couldn't find the manufacturer of the patterned paper but it is a big guitar, it is just hard to tell. I used the sketch at Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge #17. I am also entering it into the Allsorts Challenge #54-black, white and one color. Hope you are having a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Cinemas Saturday Challenge #79-New Moon

The movie for inspiration at the Cinema Saturday Challenge is New Moon. I was one of those crazy women watching it the day it came out! My daughter took me to see it for my birthday last year. It was fun spending the day with my daughter and the movie was pretty good too! I guess that I am Team Edward because he is Bella's true love but Jacob is awful easy on the eyes! The inspiration for this card is this dialogue:

Edward-You just don't belong in my world, Bella.
Bella-I belong with you.

This is a round card. I used a template from The Cutting Cafe. I cut it out of a blue panel. I free-handed the land with an embossing pen and embossed it with Verdigris embossing powder. The letter stickers are Cosmo Cricket. You are supposed to use silver on your card so The words and image are backed with silver. I also embossed the red heart (StampinUp) with silver and added a silver heart. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks berry much!

I created this card for 3 challenges.

House Mouse Challenge #69-distressing
Truly Scrumptious Challenge #32
Just Us Girls #33-color challenge-red, white, blue and kraft

It was a rainy Sunday afternoon so I got this card made in between putting together a TV stand with hubby(not so fun by the way)! For the House Mouse challenge you were supposed to distress your card. I did this by sponging brown distress ink on the edges of the white panels. The stamps are Stampabilities colored with Copic markers. The blue paper is Karen Foster. You CAN make a red, white a blue card without it being a Fourth of July card! Thanks for stopping by!

gotta love the everyday!

I love the expressions on the frogs faces! I tried to come up with a clever saying but couldn't think of anything that wasn't very corny! I found this stamp (it is a unmounted rubber stamp but didn't have a manufacturer listed) and thought that it would do! I created this stamp for 4 challenges:

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #53
Play Date Cafe #29-lime green, leaf green and pale blue
Penny Black Challenge #101-flowers
Basic Grey Challenge #20 -punch it

I stamped the frogs(Penny Black) twice, one on a white panel and one on a pale blue panel. I colored the one on the white panel with Copic markers and cut it out and attached it to the blue panel. The green Basic Grey paper is Eskimo Kisses and I am pretty sure the blue panel is Basic Grey too but I don't know the name! The paper behind the fish is more lime green but it didn't scan well! I punched the fish and added flowers and bling. Thanks for stopping by!

My heart is thine...

The Cinema Saturday #78 Challenge was to use the movie Much Ado About Nothing for inspiration. I watched this movie on YouTube on Sunday when my son and husband went fishing. My son did have a Mothers Day cookout first! Anyway I really enjoyed it! My inspiration is Benedick and Beatrice's love for each other. I love the part at the end when the each wrote poetry to each other! The saying is a rubon on parchement paper from my kitchen! The stamp is StampinUp, embossed with gold. I also rubbed gold embossing powder on the green panel. The paper is Basic Grey and I added gold brads and hinges. Thanks for broadening my horizons by watching a Shakespeare movie and using parchment paper! It was fun! Thanks for stopping by!

There is only one happiness in life...

I created this layout for 2 challenges. Even though this layout is about love, I decided to use aqua and brown. The movie for inspiration at the Cinema Saturday Movie Challenge #77 is American Sweethearts. I saw it when it first came out. My husband and I were married when I was 18 and after 30 years, we are still in love! The papers are Basic Grey.I ran the aqua panels through the Cuttlebug embossing folder.
