St Patrick's Day in July!
Hope everyone has a great weekend! My hubby turns 50 tomorrow. We took him out to eat tonight and tomorrow we are taking him to a Major League baseball game so I thought I would make a card tonight since I have to work Sunday. I made this card using the Midnight Madness Sketch #64 and the Play Date Cafe #40-black, white and a splash of green. I love this Irish Blessing by My Sentiments Exactly. I embossed it with green embossing powder. I used pop dots to make it stand out. I added pearls, ribbon and shamrock buttons. Thanks for stopping by!

Dreams are like stars...
star card closed
star card-opened
star card opened-inside
The movie for inspiration at the Cinema Saturday Movie Challenge #86 is Bend it Like Beckam. This is a good movie. It is about a girl from India who follows her dream to play soccer against her parents wishes. I found this saying which I thought fit this movie. I printed it from the computer. You are supposed to make a card of a shape other than the standard so I made a star card. I got the pattern from The Cutting Cafe. The swirls are from Inkadinkado. I stamped in red for the front and embossed white for the inside to the card. The saying is Hero Arts. I added red bling and stars. I used the colors required for the Play Date Cafe #36-red, white and pink. Thanks for stopping by!
