I have created this card for 4 challenges

Cinema Saturday Challenge #72-Julie and Julia
Stamp Something-Doodle Something
Get Sketchy #31
Colour Create Challenge #41-pick your own pastels

I think of this movie as being named after me because there are certain people in my life (like my father-in-law and my Aunt but they are in heaven now) who always called me Julie! I liked this movie and it gave us a look into Julia Child's early life. These die cuts by Etcetera reminded me of Julia in that era. The pink paper came in a card kit by TPC Studio. The blue paper is Creative Memories that I stamped with French Script by StampinUp. The saying is Queen Kat Designs. I doodled little hearts around the circle. Thanks for stopping by!

I just love this stamp, I had to get it of course! This little mouse has been a little bit bad, kind of like my dog today! He had an accident in the house:( Anyway, I colored it with Copic Markers and the saying is Penny Black. The papers are Autumn Leaves that I distressed and I crumpled the striped paper. I added the staples to make it look like it is patched up like the cup! Thanks for stopping by!

I will travel anywhere with you

The movie for inspiration at the Cinema Saturday Challenge #70 is Dear Frankie. I haven't been able to watch this yet. I can't find it on the internet and they don't have it at our movie rental store. I have watched the trailer and it looks like a very good movie. You are supposed to use a map on your project. I created this layout about the places that my husband and I have vacationed to in recent years. The patterned paper is Collage Press. I printed the title, journaling and sub-titles on the computer. I added heart punches. It is fun to remember the places that we have seen! Thanks for stopping by!

life is good!

The movie for inspiration at the Cinema Saturday #69 Challenge is Dan in Real Life. My husband and I went to the movies to watch this when it first came out so it has been a while since I have watched it! It was a pretty good movie. I think that by the end of the movie, Dan realized that his life really was good even with all of the troubles that he had! My son's birthday is this month so I made this card for him. You are supposed to make a collage on your project so I created a collage of all the things that he likes! He likes to hunt and fish, he is a track and basketball coach, his teams are the Eagles and he loves his family! Everything is a sticker except the eagle which is Quikutz and the letters are Thickers. The patterned paper is SEI. I love making collage cards! I am also entering this into the Allsorts Challenge #42-Just for Men. Thanks for stopping by!

yellow, yellow, everywhere...

Well the Lady Eagles are State Champions! The team that my son helps coach, we are so proud of them! Now I have time to work on some cards for some challenges and work on my daughter's invitations! I have created this card for 4 challenges.

Stampin' for the Weekend-monochromatic week
Play Date Cafe #19-dark yellow, light yellow and white
Cuttlebug Challenge #73-cracked glass effect
Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #43

The Cuttlebug challenge wanted us to try the cracked glass effect by running it through the Cuttlebug. It works! You emboss thick, clear embossing powder on your image and heat it with the embossing heat gun. When it is cool, run it through the Cuttlebug. The stamp that I used is StampinUp colored with Copic markers. I used striped paper from my stash and ran the white panel through the Cuttlebug embossing folder. The butterflies are Quikutz cut with the Cuttlebug. I added the pearls and the Thank You. Thanks for stopping by!

Spiderman, Spiderman...

Ok, sing along, all of you children of the 70's! The movie for inspiration at the Cinema Saturday #68 is Spiderman. You are supposed to use a transparency on your project. I decided to make a fun card for a child. The spiderman and web are on the outside of the transparency and the saying is on the inside and shows through when the card is closed. The spiderman is a Marvel sticker. The spiders and webs are cut from a page of halloween images by Little Yellow Bicycle. I printed the saying from the computer. I don't have any young children in the family right now but Spiderman is timeless and you never know what the future will bring:)
