Allsorts Challenge #11-Chocolate and Marshmallow and Dawny P Sketch and Cinema Saturday Challenge #47-Amazing Grace
I created this card for 2 challenges. For the Allsorts Challenge you had to follow the Dawny P Sketch and also use the colors marshmallow and chocolate. The movie for the Cinema Saturday Challenge this week is Amazing Grace. I haven't watched this yet but I did watch the trailer. I will try to watch it this week. I wanted to keep this card simple and inspirational. All stamps used are StampinUp. I stamped the cross in Sahara Sand and then stamped off so it would be lightly stamped. I then stamped the saying over that in Chocolate Chip. I embossed the bird with white on dark brown paper and cut it out. The patterned paper is Karen Foster and I ran the brown panel through the Argyle Cuttlebug folder. Thanks for stopping by!

The Merry Christmas is from Studio G, a gift from Lorraine(Coldwaters 2)thanks Lorraine! I added a lace ribbon and vellum sticker snowflakes from Stickopotamus. Thanks for stopping by!

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #10 and Flutterby Wednesday #66
We have been remodeling our kitchen(yes, we still are!) so I have been falling behind on the challenges. I wanted to do the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I also added in the Flutterby Wednesday Challenge. For that one you had to use pink and brown and a butterfly or fairy. I chose this fairy from Faerie Song Art Stamps. I received the pink felt panels in my Queen Kat Design Card Kit. I colored her with Copic markers. I added ribbon and light pink pearls from Kaiser Scrapbook. I added Dazzling Diamonds on her wings but it is hard to tell from the scan. Thanks for stopping by!
Ready, Set-STAMP- Challenge 1
There is a new challenge blog. It is called Ready, Set, STAMP! They give you ingredients for your project. This week is to use a cat or dog, 3 kinds of brads, black and gold, the batik technique and a book page. You are also forbidden to do anything cute! I really needed this because my cards have become very cute and it doesn't hurt to do a variety! This is a layout of our cat. I used black chipboard letters on gold paper. The patterned paper is Lil Davis. I computer generated the journaling. I used 2 different paw stamps. The big ones using the batik method is Stamp Craft and the small gold embossed paw prints around the journaling is Hero Arts. I used 3 small heart brads in the corner, one decorative brad under the title and 3 gold brads on the picture. Hope I got everything! This was a fun challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Cinema Saturday Challenge#40-National Treasure
The movie this week for the Cinema Saturday Challenge is National Treasure 1 or 2. I chose National Treasure 1 because in it they refer to the Freemasons. This really interested me because my Dad was a Mason. The movie tells the history of the Masons which I didn't know a whole lot about until I watched the movie. You were also supposed to showcase something that you treasure and I treasure all of the happy memories of my Dad! I tried to keep this layout pretty simple. The paper is Heidi Swapp. I printed the Freemason symbol from the internet and cut it out. Thanks for stopping by!
House Mouse CHallenge #45-Seasons and Stamp Something-Pink, Yellow and Green
I did this card for 2 challenges. For the House Mouse Challenge you had to pick a season, I picked Summer! I do love the Fall and Spring the best but this bunny seems to be enjoying the summer. The colors I chose were green, pink and yellow for the Stamp Something challenge. I colored the image with Copic Markers and the paper is Pink Paisley. I added gems and the saying is Post Modern Design. Thanks for stopping by, now I have to go mow the yard!

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #9 (MMSC9)
We have been busy remodeling our kitchen so I haven't had time to make many cards! I did make this one tonight for the Midnight Madness sketch challenge. I wanted to use red, black, white and a lot of sparkle! The flapper is Queen Kat Design and the saying is Autumn Leaves. I stamped the saying on vellum and cut around it and added gems. I put Dazzling Diamonds on the flapper's dress. The polka dot paper is a folder that I had so I cut a panel out of that. I added the big gems and ribbon. I am going to try to make some more this weekend since my husband has to work and won't be home to make me work on the kitchen! Thanks for stopping by!

Flutter By Wednesday #64 and Stamp Something-Christmas in July
I made this card for 2 challenges. A new one for me is Flutter By Wednesday where you have to use something with wings on your card and the Stamp Something challenge this week is Christmas in July. I used a stamp from Faerie Song Art Stamps and the saying is from StampinUp. I used gold rubon for the fairies garment and I put dazzling diamonds on the wings and the star. The paper is Basic Grey and the buttons are Buttons Galore and More. This is kind of a simple card and I feel like it needs more but I had probably better leave well enough alone! Thanks for stopping by!

Mojo Monday #93 and House Mouse Challenge #44-paper tole
I tried a technique that was new for me, paper tole. The House Mouse Challenge was to use this on your card. You can go the site to see how to do it, it is a lot of fun! I went for something simple for my first try. The bunny stands out but is hard to scan, looks better in real life! The stamp is Air Head. The paper is K&Co and Sandylion. The button is Fun Felts and the pearls are from Kaiser Scrapbook. I sponged around the images. I used the great sketch from Mojo Monday this week. Thanks for stopping by!
