Cinema Saturday #51-All About Eve and Mojo Monday #106
The Cinema Saturday Movie for inspiration this week is All About Eve. Well I got to watch part of this movie. I will try to finish it later because I am going out of town for a few days. I got the gist of it so I created this card. I went shopping today and bought some new stamps. Woo Hoo! One of them was this lady from Hot Off The Press. I colored her with Copics and cut her out and added her with pop dots. The saying is Queen Kat Designs which I embossed silver on black and cut it out. I added various black and white papers from my stash. I added the bling which was a requirement this week. I used the great sketch from Mojo Monday this week. Thanks for stopping by and talk to you all in a few days!

Ready, Steady, Stamp #6 and Mojo Monday #105
I created this card for the latest Ready, Steady, Stamp challenge and I used the Mojo Monday Sketch. For the RSS blog you had to use
pink, gray and white
corrugated paper
braces
masking
the letter B
These are so challenging to get all of the elements in! I forgot the braces and had to go back and add them! The stamps are StampinUp. I inked the chipboard braces with white ink and then inked the pink rose over them. I also inked white ink on the corrugated cardboard. The paper is doodlebug. I used the masking technique on the rose and wings. I added lace. Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty Woman Card
I created this card for 4 challenges.
Cinema Saturday Challenge #50-Pretty Woman
Our Creative Corner-a yummy color combo-white, brown, light pink, hot pink
Basic Grey #4-Embossing
Get Sketchy #5
Congratulations Brooke and Sankari for hosting 50 challenges at the Cinema Saturday Challenge. Go check it out, they are giving away awesome blog candy for the winner. The movie for inspiration is Pretty Woman. I (being the romantic) loved it when the Julia Roberts character says " I want the fairytale." and she got it! Edward climbed up to her window (and he was afraid of heights) and asked her to marry him, how romantic!
You were supposed to use paper piecing for the Cinema Saturday challenge too. I used this techique for the wedding dress (StampinUp). I stamped it twice, one embossed (sorry that you cannot see the embossing very well on this scan!)white on white and the other one in brown, cut them both out and pieced them together. The light pink paper is Basic Grey Sultry and the Fairytale is Basic Grey stickers. The other words are Fontworks rubons. The patterned paper is My Minds Eye. I added pearls, a foam heart and rings from Dress it Up. Thanks for stopping by!
Birthday Fun!
I made this card for 3 challenges.
House Mouse Challenge #52-A year in review. You were supposed to pick one of the past
52 challenges for your card. I picked #44-paper tole
Stamp Something-favorite paper or colors-my favorite colors are green and blue. I like
these fun papers from Scenic Route.
Inspirational Card Sketches #34-I used the sketch from this challenge
I wanted to try my hand at paper tole again. The first time I used the paper tole technique on a big image.I wanted to try this on smaller images so his time I used this technique on the popcorn to make them stand out. I colored the image with Copic markers. The saying is Queen Kat Designs. The papers are Scenic Route. I ran the panels through the Cuttlebug. I think this will make a cute birthday card for a little boy! Thanks for stopping by!

Cinema Saturday#49-The Two Towers and Allsorts Challenge #18
The movie for inspiration at the Cinema Saturday Challenge was The Two Towers-Lord of the Rings. I really enjoyed all of the Lord of the Rings movies. To me, this movie is about the conflict of good and evil. That is why I tried to use black and white on this card. I used this saying because I think it goes with this movie too. They all banded together, became friends and gained the strength to fight evil.
I recently bought this stamp set from Verve. I rubbed blue and green ink on a glossy panels. I embossed the saying and image with black embossing powder. I added the black and white designer papers. There are 3 clear raindrop gems in the left corner but they are hard to see. I used the sketch from the Allsorts challenge. You were also supposed to use only 2 colors. Besides the black and white I used green and blue, my favorite colors! Thanks for stopping by!

Get Sketchy #5 and Flutter By Wednesday #74
Well here I go from making a shabby, male fish card to a pink, frilly, girl card! I guess I like to make a variety of different cards! I made this card for 2 challenges. I colored her with Copic markers and chalks with baby oil. I also added Dazzling Diamonds. The saying is Queen Kat Designs. I used a foam flower stamp with Brilliance ink for the background on the pink panels and I stamped the Hello with the same ink. The Get Sketchy blog asked you to make an embellishment. I made my flower embellisment by using Quikutz dies run though the Cuttlebug. At Flutter By Wednesday, Danni is celebrating her birthday all month and asked us to use pink on our fairy or butterfly card. Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp Something-Your favorite stamp plus punches or die cuts.
My song inspiration for this card was Singing in the Rain of course! That is the name of this stamp! I colored the image with Copic markers. The paper and the saying is Deja View. I used my punches to make the flower with leaves. I don't know why I don't do this more instead of buying premade flowers!
Erin from Stamp Something asked us to make a card for her neighbor Paige who sustained an injury in a boating accident. I hope this little mouse will brighten her day. I will put it in the mail tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!
