It might as well be Spring
I have created this card for 3 challenges
Truly Scumptious #35 #
Cinema Saturday Movie Challenge # 85-State Fair
Our Creative Challenge-Keep your cool colour challenge-blues and greens
I watched the movie State Fair as a child. It was fun looking at some of the clips. I really liked the song It Might as Well be Spring so that song was my inspiration. You were supposed to use a pennant on this card so I put my saying on a pennant. I cut the saying out with the Quikutz and Cuttlebug (which took me forever) and the flowers and butterfly was cut that way too. The stars are punches. I would tell you the manufacture
of the paper but I can't find it:( I added the green metal fasteners. Thanks for stopping by!
Truly Scrumptious Design Team Call
The Truly Scrumptious Challenge Blog is having a Design Team call. I would love to be on this team because it is one of my favorite challenge blogs. They want us to post two of our favorite cards. I am going to post a House Mouse card and a Penny Black card. They are 2 of my favorite stamps to use! Wish me luck!

I'm back with a Fathers Day Card
Well, my daughter's wedding reception is over and it turned out great! I am glad that it is over! I am getting back to entering challenges by making a Fathers Day card. I created this card for 4 challenges
Cinema Saturday Movie Challenge #84-Father of the Bride
Creative Inspirations #65-One for the boys
Play Date Cafe #34 Black, White and Blue
Midnight Madness #58
THe movie for inspiration for the Cinema Saturday Challenge is Father of the Bride. This movie is so funny and it tugs on your heart strings. I know how Mr. Banks feels because my husband acted just like him when he was walking our daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. He cried like a baby! I made this card for my husband for Fathers day. It can be for Mr. Banks too! I embossed this image by StampinUp with Blue Glitz embossing powder. The black paper is KI Memories. I ran the white and black panels through a Cuttlebug and the saying is stickers. Good to be back and talk to you later!

Why I haven't been around lately...wedding photos
My daughter was married in Hawaii, June 5, 2010. It was on the island of Maui at a resort. My husband and I, my son and his fiance and his family attended. It was a beautiful wedding! The next days were spent sightseeing and enjoying the beautiful island. We are having a Hawaiian reception for her Saturday. I will get back to cardmaking and blogland soon! I miss you guys! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
