On vacation!

I am signing off for about a week, on vacation! I will post a couple of cards for my Design Teams when I get back. Going to sunny Florida! Can't be much hotter than it has been here this summer! My dogs got groomed yesterday so I am going to show off my pets. The white dog is Lady, the Peke-a-poo is Tiny and the Cat is Chloe. My neice is coming to take care of them while we are gone. Bye for now, be back in touch in a week!

Those mice are at it again!

Are you staying cool, it is super hot here! Nice evening to stay in and make a card. The House Mouse Monday Challenge is having a Blog Hop to celebrate their 100th Challenge! The challenge is to use buttons, bows and bling. Here is my card.

I used the cute stamp that I won a while back from Scoopy Sue, a designer on the House Mouse Challenge, thanks again, Sue! I colored them with Copic marker. The patterned paper is GCD Studios. I added a doily, sheer polka dot ribbon, yellow bling, flowers, heart buttons and black pearl bling. I am entering it into the following challenges also.

a mice birthday celebration!

Is everyone having a good weekend? So far, I am having a pretty good one! We went to my son's house to do some painting, swam at the Y and ate fresh vegetables for supper, corn on the cob, tomatoes and fried zuccini, yum! I did manage to make a card tonight for a few challenges.

The Fuzzy Wuzzy July Challenge-Get Punchy-Mid Month Reminder

It is time for a Mid Month Reminder at The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge! The theme this month is to Get Punchy. We are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish. They have donated some fabulous digital images. I have chosen this cute little kitty.

I colored Miss Kitty with Copic markers. I sponged the edges with brown ink. The saying is Studio G. I added lace which I picked up at a yard sale for a quarter! I added pink flowers and buttons and little pearls. The punches that I used are a flower border punch, leaf punch and a butterfly punch. The big sun is Stampendous and the saying and little suns are Verve. I embossed the big sun with Mustard Zing embossing powder.The grey background has been ran through the star embossing folder. The border punch is Martha Stewart and I added some sparkly stars. I am entering it in the following challenges.

One Stop Craft Challenge #139-In the Summer time-DT card

It is time for another One Stop Craft Challenge! The theme for this week is In the Summer time. We are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish. She generously gave the Design Team some digital images to work with. I have picked this very pretty strawberry plant!

I printed the several images on watercolor paper I cut out the flower and added  it to the image with pop dots. The panels were cut with Spellbinders label with the Cuttlebug. The papers are Basic Grey and the saying is Stampabilities. I added a leaf punch and a gem heart. I am also entering this in the Stampin' Sisters in Christ #96-Clean and Simple. I colored this image with distress inks and Copic markers. The papers are My Minds Eye. I sponged distress ink around the edges. I cut the heart with Spellbinders and the Cuttlebug. The heart punch is one of my favorite punches. I punched out the leaves and hand cut the stems. I added a Love ticket and a heart doily.
