3 challenges 1 card!

I made this card for 3 challenges

Flutterby Wednesday #67-You had to make a scene and little or no patterned paper-sorry I used one piece of this beautiful patterned paper!
Stampin' for the Weekend #8-Masking for the weekend
Stamp Something-Bugs, Butterflies, and other winged somethings

I made the this card using the masking technique. I stamped the fairy 2 times and cut out the 2nd fairy. I put the 2nd fairy over the 1st fairy and then stamped the tree and flowers. This makes a scene! I then colored it with Copic Markers and chalks. The fairy is Faerie Song Art Stamps and the rest of the stamps are StampinUp. The paper is from my stash and the lady bugs are Dress it Up.I ran the green panel though the Cuttlebug. Thanks for stopping by!

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #11

I created this card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. I used the bleach technique. I watched a tutorial on it the other day but I forgot where:( I stamped the image (StampinUp) with black Stazon. I then took a bleach pen and went around the edge and part of the image. After it dried I colored part of the image with ink and a blender pen. The papers are Basic Grey. The stickers are Creative Imaginations and the saying is a rubon by Memory Makers and I added twine. Thanks for stopping by!

All Sorts Challenge 10 and Cinema Saturday #41-Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

I made this card for 2 challenges. The Allsorts challenge where you have to use only one of anything on your card and Cinema Saturday Challenge where the movie for inspiration is Harry Potter-The Chamber of secrets. I really love the owl in this movie so that was my inspiration! Here is what I used

1 patterned paper from My Minds Eye
1 yellow cardstock
1 stamped and embossed owl image from Inkadinkado
1 glitter transparency from Fancy Pants
1 ribbon
1 fiber
1 tag

This was fun to make and thanks for stopping by!

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #10 and Flutterby Wednesday #66

We have been remodeling our kitchen(yes, we still are!) so I have been falling behind on the challenges. I wanted to do the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I also added in the Flutterby Wednesday Challenge. For that one you had to use pink and brown and a butterfly or fairy. I chose this fairy from Faerie Song Art Stamps. I received the pink felt panels in my Queen Kat Design Card Kit. I colored her with Copic markers. I added ribbon and light pink pearls from Kaiser Scrapbook. I added Dazzling Diamonds on her wings but it is hard to tell from the scan. Thanks for stopping by!

Ready, Set-STAMP- Challenge 1

There is a new challenge blog. It is called Ready, Set, STAMP! They give you ingredients for your project. This week is to use a cat or dog, 3 kinds of brads, black and gold, the batik technique and a book page. You are also forbidden to do anything cute! I really needed this because my cards have become very cute and it doesn't hurt to do a variety! This is a layout of our cat. I used black chipboard letters on gold paper. The patterned paper is Lil Davis. I computer generated the journaling. I used 2 different paw stamps. The big ones using the batik method is Stamp Craft and the small gold embossed paw prints around the journaling is Hero Arts. I used 3 small heart brads in the corner, one decorative brad under the title and 3 gold brads on the picture. Hope I got everything! This was a fun challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Cinema Saturday Challenge#40-National Treasure

The movie this week for the Cinema Saturday Challenge is National Treasure 1 or 2. I chose National Treasure 1 because in it they refer to the Freemasons. This really interested me because my Dad was a Mason. The movie tells the history of the Masons which I didn't know a whole lot about until I watched the movie. You were also supposed to showcase something that you treasure and I treasure all of the happy memories of my Dad! I tried to keep this layout pretty simple. The paper is Heidi Swapp. I printed the Freemason symbol from the internet and cut it out. Thanks for stopping by!

House Mouse CHallenge #45-Seasons and Stamp Something-Pink, Yellow and Green

I did this card for 2 challenges. For the House Mouse Challenge you had to pick a season, I picked Summer! I do love the Fall and Spring the best but this bunny seems to be enjoying the summer. The colors I chose were green, pink and yellow for the Stamp Something challenge. I colored the image with Copic Markers and the paper is Pink Paisley. I added gems and the saying is Post Modern Design. Thanks for stopping by, now I have to go mow the yard!
