I don't usually make too many funny cards but it is nice to do one every once in a while! The stamp is American Art Stamp. I colored her with Copic markers. Anyway, I used the Basic Grey paper Sultry. I ran the pink panel through Swiss Dots Cuttlebug. I added buttons per the Allsorts challenge and pink gems which look better in real life because they don't scan well! Thanks for stopping by!

Yet another...

Fantasy Tree in a different color! Are you tired of them yet? This stamp is so versatile, you can use it with so many different colors. I made this for the Penny Black Challenge #77- a Sketch by Beth and the Stampin for the Weekend Challenge-Lilac and Silver. I stamped the tree and embossed it with silver embossing powder. I added Bling on the tree by Basic Grey. The sparkly silver paper is from my stash. The saying is StampinUp. I added a white ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!

Stamptacular Sunday

I made a card for Stamptacular Sunday #34-Nature-tacular. I bought this stamp by A Stamp in the Hand Co. last weekend and this was the perfect challenge to use it! I embossed with black. I then colored the image with Copic markers. The saying is Stampscapes, Inc. which I also embossed it in black. I don't know the manufacture of the patterned paper. I added flowers, buttons and leaves punched with a Martha Stewart punch. Thanks for stopping by!

Magical Delights...

I created this card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #29. I actually won this digital image by Michelle Perkett on that site! I printed out the images, colored with Copic markers and added Dazzling Diamonds on the white fur. The patterned paper is Basic Grey. I don't have a whole lot of Penny Black stamps and I wanted to make a card for their Winter Wonderland challenge so I used the Fantasy Stamp again! This time I embossed it in Stardust Embossing powder. The saying is from The Paper Studio. The patterned paper is Basic Grey and I ran the white panel though the snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder. I added a ribbon and a gem swirl for the Truly Scrumptious Sketch Challenge.I am also entering this one in the Allsorts challenge since the saying on my card is a song title! Thanks for stopping by!

I don't usually post personal stuff on here but I am off work today because I am going to attend my Aunt's funeral and it is also my birthday! My Aunt was very dear to me. You know how some people are just good with kids? Well she was. She would do crafts with me. She would order a craft kit just for her and me to work on every month! My Mom (her Sister) died when I was five and my Aunt was like a surrogate Mom to me! Anyway, she was 87, in a nursing home, had pneumonia and was ready to go Home. I will celebrate my birthday this weekend. On Friday I am going to spend the day with my daughter and we are going to see New Moon. Then I am going to Gatlinburg, Tenn. with some of my girlfriends for the weekend. So I woke up at 4:00 in the morning and saw that they had posted the new sketch for the Midnight Madness Sketch #28 so I decided to make a card for it.

The stamps are StampinUp. I cut out the lion and the lamb and gold embossed the saying and the star. I ran the strips through the Cuttlebug. I gold embossed the green strip and rubbed green ink on the gold strip. I received the patterned paper in a kit and it didn't have the name of the designer on it. I added brown leaves, a dove from Joles wedding set and put a leaf in its mouth. I added a tassel from my stash. Thanks for stopping by!

Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential #7-Create a Masterboard

I used my favorite new Penny Black stamp Fantasy for this card. I embossed it with Zing embossing powder. I created a masterboard of embossed snowflake (but I covered most of it up!) using Paper Studio stamps. The big snowflake is also Paper Studio. The saying is Queen Kat Designs. I cut the sayings with the Cuttlebug and I also ran the white panel through the snowflake embossing folder. Thanks for stopping by!
