One Stop Craft Challenge #172-Button It DT Card

I am sorry that I am late posting this but I had no internet service because of TORNADOS in the area. The tornados hit 4 small towns in our area. My daughter was just 3 miles from where an F4 hit a small town including a school. Her car was damaged but thank God that was it. My son lives by another small town that was hit and his wifes Aunt and Uncle lost thier house trailer. Please pray for that families that lost loved ones. 14 people have died in Indiana including a young family. The 2 young parents and 2 of thier children died. The one 14 month old daughter that survived was found in a field and is in critical condition.

Now for some good news. It has been a busy weekend. We went to a Jimmy Buffet Concert which was great! Today I am having a baby shower for my daughter.

For The One Stop Craft Challenge #172-the theme is Buttons. This should be easy, everyone loves buttons! We are sponsored by Fred She Said and they generously gave the design team some digital images to play with. I chose this  hummingbird. Here is my card.
I colored this image with Copic markers. The saying is Hero Arts. The papers are Lily Bee Designs. I added a ribbon, flowers, punched leaves and of course Buttons! Check out the One Stop Craft Challenge because my fellow DT members have created some awesome projects!
I am also entering this into the following challenges:
Stampin' Sisters in Christ #129-Winged Things
Allsort #144-Anything with Wings
Paper Crafting Journey #4-Anything Goes

  3. Hi Julia, love the hummingbird image and what you did with it on your great card.

We saw on the news about the Tornado and it is just hard to watch. Keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers. So much destruction in just minutes.

Hope your shower went well and your daughter is doing well. Won't be long now.

    Hugs

Thanks so much for joining in my Things with Wings theme at Allsorts this week, good luck and hope to see you again.

I think you card would also fit our Springtime theme at our sister challenge Penny Black and More

I do hope the dreadful weather conditions soon ease and you are all safe.
