I am on vacation this week so I had more time to make some cards today! I made this card for the Something's Fishy Day #58 on 365 Card Challenge. You have to look kind of close to see the fish! I stamped it in brown and the embossed the white Happy Birthday over it which is Queen Kat Designs. The other images are StampinUp. I white embossed the fishermen in their boat too. The patterned paper is Scenic Route and I put the cardstock through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot. Thanks for stopping by!

Cinema Saturday Challenge #29-To Catch a Thief

I made this card last night for the Cinema Saturday Challenge #29-To Catch a Thief. I had watched this movie a long time ago. Aren't the old movies so romantic! I based this card on her blue dress in the movie. I know it is a simple card and I really had to refrain myself from embellishing more this morning because her blue dress is simple but elegant! You were also supposed to use layers on your card. I found some mulberry paper in my stash and put it on a blue panel, added the ribbon, and the saying is StampinUp cut with the Cuttlebug. Thanks for stopping by!

House Mouse Challenge #34-Springtime

I did this card for the latest House Mouse Challenge. You are supposed to make a Spring card. There is no doubt about it, this is Springy! The 70's Hippie in me loves butterflies and flowers! I am just afraid that the cute mouse and bird are kind of lost on this card! I did a lot of cutting and punching on this card. The background paper is Creating Memories. The House Mouse stamp is Tw0 Part Harmony, the saying is Queen Kat Designs, the white flowers are K&Co, the notes are Quikutz and the butterflies are Fontwerks. Cinema Saturday #28-The Lion King

The movie inspiration for this week at the Cinema Saturday Challenge is The Lion King. It has been a while since I had seen this movie since my kids are grown now! You were supposed to base your card on one of the animals in the film so I guess this card is based on the giraffes in the background! I did watch The Circle of Life on the internet and it is such a beautiful song! The background is SEI Madera Island which the brown on it is raised felt. The frame and sun is from the same line. I put pop dots on the frame to make it stand out. The giraffes are Queen Kat Design. The saying is from StampinUp and the ribbon is from my stash! Thanks for stopping by!

The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge #26-Shape It!

I did this card for the Cuttlebug Spot Challenge-Shape it. You had to make a shaped card. This is a shaped card, I just scanned it on a black background! I won a prize at The House Mouse Challenge which was 3 designs from The Cutting Cafe. One of the digital images that I picked was Shaped Cards! Woo Hoo! So I used that template to cut out the frame out of purple cardstock. The stamps are from StampinUp. I had wanted this stamp for a long time and never used it too much so I decided to pull it out tonite! I embossed the saying with white and cut out the lilac and put Dazzling Diamonds on it. I used the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder. Thanks for stopping by!

House Mouse Challenge #33-Multiple Images

I did this card for the House Mouse Challenge-Multiple Images. You were supposed to use either images from different House Mouse stamps or one image with a stamp with multiple images. I used the bunny from a stamp with 3 bunnies called Party Hoppers and the mouse is This Egg's for You. I switched the Easter egg for the cupcake. I did this for a previous card but I had cut them both out. This was harder! I had to mask off part of the cupcake. I coloured them with Copic markers and put Dazzling Diamonds on the cupcake. The rubon at the top is from The Paper Studio. I refrained from putting on some ribbon and/or flowers because I wanted the images to stand out but it was hard! Thanks for stopping by!

Cinema Saturday Challenge #26-My Fair Lady

I decided to create a scrapbook page for this weeks challenge at Cinema Saturday. The movie was My Fair Lady. It had been a while since I had watched this movie. I love Audrey Hepburn! I based this layout on her white dress. I also added a splash of pink. This is a layout of my cousins wedding. The title is a rubon by Deja Views. I had just bought some textured, sparkly paper so that worked out well on this layout. You were supposed to use embossing so I used the same embossed paper that Sankari used on her card but I covered most of it up! I had bought that paper and then saw her card (great minds think a like!). The foam hearts are from my stash. I used the sketch from Paper Craft Planet Scrappy Sunday. Thanks for stopping by!

House Mouse Challenge #31-bags and boxes

Can you tell that I went shopping again, LOL! I bought some little gift bags and of course this little mouse Monica with Pacifier! I made this gift bag even though I don't know of anyone having a baby right now! The saying is by Hero Arts and the background is Cuttlebug embossed with Bloom Dots (which I bought yesterday too!) and the butterflies are K and Co. (on sale yesterday!). I am going to have to quit doing these challenges because I think I need new supplies for them (don't tell hubby!).
