The One Stop Craft Challenge #179 DT Card-A Sketch

Hey there! How's it going? I have been REALLY busy! We have been on vacation this week and have been remodeling our living room and hallway. The weather has been beautiful here so we have been fishing also and of course trying to go see our new grandbaby! Enough of me, now it is time for another One Stop Craft Challenge! This weeks challenge is to use this sketch. Here it is
We are sponsored by A Day For Daisies. You can win a beautiful digital image from them. They have generously given the Design Team some images to play with. I have chosen these Birds on a Branch. Here is my card.
I decided to make my card Aisan inpired so I used black, red and gold. I colored the cherry blossoms with distress inks and the rest with Copic markers. The saying is a rubon by Creative Imaginations. The papers are foil except for the black lace is an acetate overlay by Teresa Collins. I added flowers, brads and black hearts.  Please check out The One Stop Craft Challenge and check out the Design Team Members awesome projects and join in the fun! I am also entering this card into the following challenges.
Stampin' Sisters in Christ 134-Use something see through
Saturday Challenge 192-Movie Inspired-Mulan
Stampin' for the Weekend #8-Sparkle and Shine
Before I leave I will bore you with another baby picture of my Granddaughter, Avery!

  5. Avery is just so sweet, I can see why you haven't been blogging. I'd be holding this sweetheart as much as possible.

Oh, and I love the card too. Love the Asian color scheme and the saying is wonderful, might have to get that for cards I send to soldiers to send home, seems perfect!

    Happy for you!
