Cinema Saturday #100-Pride and Predjudice

I had to create a card for this challenge. Congratulations to Brooke and Sankari for celebrating their 100th Cinema Saturday Challenge. They started with Pride and Predjudice and everyone voted for it to be their 100th challenge too! I have to admit that I am not a big Jane Austen fan. I know, not very womanly of me! My sister is though, does that count? I am a big romantic though and I love happy endings! I watched the 2005 version with Kierra Knightly. My card is inspired by the happy ending where Elizabeth realizes that she loves Mr. Darcy. I love the scene where he comes out of the fog and the very end.

I rubbed rose ink on a glossy panel and backed it with black. I stamped the man (Tim Holtz) the lady (Hot off the Press) the swirls (Scrappy Cat) and the saying (Hampton Art) with black Stazon ink. The requirement is to add a touch of lace which I did for the collar of her dress. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Julia... One of the things I LOVE about you is that you can still find inspiration from a movie you don't love... It mean sooooooo much that you took the time to play with us on our 100th celebration.. Your card is BEAUTIFUL... Thanks for being part of our Cinema family...
